Biography
My name is Donna Rhoten (Miss. Donna) and I own and operate Donna's Learning Center. I graduated from Wasilla High School in 1983 and attended 2 years of college after high school. In 2009 I started my academic career majoring in Early Childhood Development and in May 2014 I graduated from the College of Southern Idaho with an AA Degree in Early Childhood Education and in December 2016 I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lewis-Clark State College. I am now taking Masters classes at Boise State University, majoring in Early and Special Education. I have been taking care of children since I was 11 years old and thoroughly enjoy children. I worked at Eagle Learning Center for 2 years before stepping out on my own and opening my own family childcare facility. I am the mother of a 22 year old daughter and a 29 year old son and the grandmother of a 3 year old. I have always loved working with children. It is very satisfying to watch them learn and to be part of that process. Donna's Learning Center has been in operation since Feb. 1995. I have earned a 4 Star rating through IdahoStars, a Step 3 Step to Quality, a Secondary Technical Certificate in ECE from CSI, a Child Development Accreditation, and a Child Specialist Certificate from The IDOL.
